STIFFLER
Recognized for their porn punk-pop style and crazy antics, these modern day rockers know as, STIFFLER, have a unique flare for high energy entertainment, working over the audience with their own style of fun onstage humor & amusing live show. STIFFLER forming from Brother’s Stu and Chris Dobell former vocalist & drummer stalwarts from(ELROY), teamed up with(Jeff Brown Trio/Red star studios) front man/guitarist Rod Riley, German influenced front man - guitarist Anto Kalsow(Countersunk) for what was to be a few drunken jams. Later on that year Paul Ditton also former front man from (Creeper) joined the band for a one off practice & never went home. The boys already knowing each other from the local gong reach around, combined their forces to start a fun, cheeky, melodic band which also has a dash of old school punk & a sprinkle of today’s modern style emo rock. With the exit of Rod after the recording of their debut EP for label Solo Productions, Stiffler acquired the services of Chris Bragg, Chris was the bassist for MFS who the band had played with numerous times and he fit the band like a finger in the bum. Throughout multiple rehearsals & over 40 plus shows, This original 5 piece band are set to climb the ladder the old fashion way & are certainly doing that by Supporting international acts such as, Mach Pelican (Japan/Melbourne), The Groovie Ghoulies (San Francisco) & also Supporting national bands such as, The Drugs, The Pictures, Unpaid Debt, Something with Numbers, Kisschasey, Hytest & more.

CHORD-EAUX
Chord-eaux is an Illawarra-based folk band which has, for over 10 years, built up a wonderful repertoire of folk songs and tunes from Australia, Ireland, Scotland, England and other countries around the world. Chord-eaux has support from Wollongong City Council as a community band, and is committed to keeping folk music alive in the Illawarra region.
Chord-eaux has been called “the Illawarra’s busiest band “ - playing up to 100 concerts every year in pre-COVID times.
Chord-eaux regularly plays at community events such as the Illawarra Folk Festival, Viva La Gong, Folk-By-The Sea, Mountain2Sea, Rotary and Probus events, Wongawilli Colonial Dances, Figgy Folk Sessions, and plays much appreciated concerts at aged care facilities.
More recently, Chord-eaux performed a Scottish set at the Illawarra Folk Club’s Live In Hope Concert at the City Diggers Club as a pre-celebration of St Andrews Day. This has since been followed by three self-arranged concerts teaming with other local folk bands, two at the Servo in Port Kembla and another at Oak Flats, and a lunch time concert in the Wollongong Mall put on by the Wollongong City Council and the Illawarra Folk Club.
